I'm Paolo Alexis Falcone, currently the secretary of the Philippine Linux Users' Group, the oldest Linux Users' Group in Asia. I've been a Linux user (on a Thinkpad) since 2000, and an occasional Mac user (having owned a Macbook) as of late 2007.
I also serve as the CIO of Upstrat Inc :
http://www.upstrat.com a small Philippine-based software development firm using Ruby on Rails and other FOSS technologies.Occasionally I do software development though these days most of my tasks are on administration and doing backend stuff such as databases, security, etc.
I'm also a member of the UP Vanguard Inc., a military fraternity organized under the Reserve Officers' Training Corps, as well as a member of Junior Chamber International - QC Capitol chapter.
I'm a doting husband to my wife Sarah, and father of twin baby boys born last 15 February 2007 at the UST Hospital.Oftentimes I'm just at home, doing the chores, or doing online support for my company's clients, and of course Rimu. That gives me a lot of time for attending my family, going out to dinner or movies, or do business travels.
If not at work or family I'd either be found riding my bike (as part of my recent efforts to slim down), or reading something (Apologetics, history, philosophy, computer science, Slashdot) or doing some repairs
