Do you need to transfer ownership of your RimuHosting server to someone else?

If you have just the one server they can log in at >>http://rimuhosting.com/cp (using your username/password) and update their contact details. Then they would need to contact us and let us know that they are taking over the server.

If you do not want that new user to have your old billing history, or if you have multiple servers with us and only wish to transfer one server then we can move the ownership of a particular server to a different user.

To do this, the new user needs to have an account in our system. The easiest way to do that is to put in a dummy order. It does not matter what type of server you order, or what domain name you use.

Before you start the order go to the following url >>https://rimuhosting.com/cp/index.jsp?l_logout=Y This will log you out of the original account (in case you are logged in there). So that the new order does not get associated with the new details you are providing.

When you order the new/dummy server use 16 0's for the credit card number on the billing page. On the order confirmation page, just say 'This is a dummy order. We intend to take ownership of server xxxx (give the IP).' The new user will not be billed for this server. It is just a dummy order so we can capture their contact details.

After the order is placed, put in a support ticket (on the account owning the VPS you are transferring) authorizing us to move the server ownership to the new customer. Ask us to 'zero out' the credit card number if you no longer wish us to bill that card. Or otherwise let us know what the new payment arrangement will be for that server.

We will do that, then the customer will need to log in and update the billing details with their own payment details.
